Why Master Vatore?
Master Vatore has been studying Kempo for over 18 years and has over 16 years of Martial Arts teaching experience. Currently she holds a 5th degree Black Belt in Kempo. Master Vatore was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Female Black Belt of the year in March 2017. She is extremely dedicated to her own martial arts training with ongoing weekly lessons, seminars, training DVD’s and books.
She fell in love with Martial Arts as a teenager watching Saturday morning Martial Arts movies. She began her training as an adult after bringing her 6-year-old son to a Martial Arts class, she was hooked immediately and started instructor training within 6 months of study. Later, she enrolled her other 2 children, and all of them trained to Black Belt and beyond as a family for many years. The long-time perspective of a parent, student and instructor gives her firsthand experience of the benefits that martial arts provides to families, this imparts her with a unique wisdom that she brings to all her classes.
Master Vatore’s background includes teaching Martial Arts techniques to students of various skill levels and abilities, instructing 100s of students ages 4 and up at multiple Martial Arts Schools. She has developed the formats for numerous classes and tests, overseeing up to 30 students or more at a time, all while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students through collaboration, feedback, encouragement and motivation. It is no surprise that on multiple occasions parents would often ask Master Vatore how she does it.
With her strong understanding of Martial Arts Concepts, commitment to ongoing Martial Arts study, complemented by her excellent interpersonal and leadership talents and training skills, she has empowered many students to advance and excel in the Martial Arts over the years.
